Sim, DJ Khaled teve a chance de sentar-se com o único e mundialmente famoso Jon Bon Jovi.
DJ Khaled’s podcast, titled #TheFirst One is available exclusively on Amazon Music, and he was truly graced and humbled by Bon Jovi’s presence. Khaled put out a teaser for fans to enjoy, but we can all agree that getting a hint of what this interview was like, really just made us want more.
Of course, social distancing measures are in full force and effect, so the podcast was recorded in each of the stars’ respective homes, but fans were still able to experience the magic that comes along with two incredible artists, sharing a conversation about their passion for the world of music.
Popstar To Rockstar
DJ Khaled has recently seen a whirlwind of success from his hit song with Justin Bieber, Popstar. The self-proclaimed popstar has now entered a new music genre, and is attaining his very own rockstar status, by hanging out with one of the most recognizable faces in the world of rock, Jon Bon Jovi.
The two wasted no time with introductions. As the camera panned, it was evident that DJ Khaled’s huge television screen, which now featured Bon Jovi live, was surrounded by trophies and accolades, demonstrating the artist’s successful career.
They dove right in with DJ Khaled asking Bon Jovi when he knew that music was his destiny, to which he replied “there was no plan B.” He hysterically summed up the way he took a chance on his career by following his passion when he was asked “what was your first rockstar moment?” Bon Jovi stated; “we were cute, and we could sing, and we could rock…. at the age of 16,17,18 I’d look in the mirror and say ‘I’m a rockstar and believed it!'” Clearly that positive thinking and dedication to his craft proved to be successful, and perhaps, inspirational to other young artists listening in on this podcast.

Putting His All Into Everything
Perhaps one of the most heartfelt moments of the interview came when Bon Jovi was asked which album was his favorite. His response shocked fans, and reminded us all that there are still artists out there that pour their heart and soul into their music, and don’t just throw songs together and release them for the same of generating income. Jon’s response to the question was; “every time you make an album, that’s your personal favorite. You don’t put out a record unless you know every track on it is the best one that you could write in that period of time.”
Bon Jovi has maintained a loyal, dedicated fan base for well over 40 years now, and his music appeals to fans of all ages and walks of life. He is also an incredible humanitarian, owns a restaurant designed to feed the hungry and homeless, and has been admired for his compassion and true sense of chivalry.
