Na maioria dos setores, há muitas pessoas diferentes que podem realizar qualquer trabalho. Afinal, a cada ano há um monte de gente se formando em faculdades e universidades, o que significa que as empresas têm muitas opções quando precisam fazer uma nova contratação.
When it comes to Hollywood, there are so many people vying for each job that you may assume that power brokers similarly have a lot of options. However, given the fact that most shows and movies get greenlit based on the star power of the actors involved, the list of people that can be cast in any given role is surprisingly small a lot of the time. For that reason, most actors who’ve been near the top of the business for a long time have worked together, or at the very least they’ve interacted at industry events.
Based on the nature of the entertainment industry, it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that are many celebrity friendships that most people are completely oblivious to. For example, most Sons of Anarchy fans have no idea that one of the show’s main actors, Mark Boone Junior, is extremely close friends with one of the most respected actors around.

As it turns out, during the early-80s Buscemi first began developing his comedy skills on stage and amazingly enough, audiences roundly rejected his performances at first.
